Los Naranjos, meaning “The orange” is very aptly named. This 18-hole, par 72 course, situated close to the trendy town of Puerto Banus, the view of la Concha Mountain and lush greenery and fragrant orange trees, ensuring every round of golf is a pure pleasure.

Los Naranjos is a typical Robert Trent Jones Sr. design with generous fairways and strategically placed bunkers and water hazards. The greens, with Penn A4-grass, are spacious and slightly undulated. The tees are long and have four markers: red, yellow, white and black with course lengths starting from 5.054 meters and reaching 6.564 meters at its longest. Since the opening in 1977, Los Naranjos has been the host of several mayor competitions, including the Spanish Open, and is ranked one of the best golf courses in Spain.

This course poses a mixed challenge with the front nine being fairly open and the back nine being quite tight amongst orange groves. There are beautiful views across the property which provides an idyllic environment in which to enjoy a round of golf. This golf course is a superb track with the front nine being wide and open and the back nine being quite tight through the orange groves. Many of the large and undulating greens are well protected by bunkers which add to the great challenge of this golf course. Los Naranjos golf club has a state-of-the-art irrigation system which helps to keep it in tip-top condition.

The 18th is a firm favorite for a lot of golfers. At the end of your round you are faced with a large dogleg left par five which plays at 507 meters long, with the green nestled into the hillside and a water hazard to make you question your approach shot, it always makes for an exciting finish.
